Five former, current and future Orange Coast College golfers finished in the top 20 at the 37th annual Costa Mesa City Championship on Sunday (Aug. 2).
Ryan Knapp, an incoming Coast freshman, led the Pirates with his four-under-par 138 for a second place finish and made the tournament's only eagle from a par four on Sunday. [Click here to read a feature on Knapp]
Marcus Sostak-Rosa, the scoring leader for Coast last season, finished tied for sixth with a 142, even-par. [Click here to read a feature on Sostak-Rosa]
Another incoming OCC player Benny Santa Maria (pictured), who was tied for fourth going into Sunday, finished tied for eighth with a 143 total.
Former Coast player Ryan Indovina, headed for Cal State Dominguez Hills this fall, finished tied for 12th with a two-over-par 144.
Kord Tagley finished tied for 20th with a 147.
